
Mme Wanda Jo-Anne Jones, âgée de 62 ans, est décédée paisiblement dans son sommeil à Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, le 17 janvier 2026. Wanda est née le 4 août 1963 à Montréal. Wanda aimait rire, avait un profond amour pour la musique, la lecture et trouvait une grande joie et réconfort auprès de ses nombreux animaux de compagnie bien-aimés. Elle chérissait également son temps passé en Alberta, et les nombreux amis et membres de sa famille proches qu’elle y avait signifiaient beaucoup pour elle, tous se rappellerons de Wanda pour son rire, son esprit doux, sa chaleur et la gentillesse discrète qu’elle témoignait envers ceux qui l’entouraient. Bien qu’elle ait eu des problèmes de santé au cours des dernières années, elle a toujours conservé son amour pour sa famille et ses amis.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux aimant, Alex Sher, ses frères et sœurs Mark Jones (épouse Mimi), Glenda Pietrantonio (époux Michael), Cindy Hodgdon (époux Rick) et Bill Jones (épouse Shelly), ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces affectionnés qui s’ennuieront profondément d’elle.

Wanda Jo-Anne Jones, age 62, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Valleyfield on January, 17th 2026. Wanda was born on August 4, 1963, in Montreal, Quebec. Wanda loved to laugh, had a deep love for music, reading and found great joy and comfort in her many beloved pets. She also cherished her time living in Alberta and the many close friends and family there meant a great deal to her.
Wanda will be remembered for her laugh, her gentle spirit, her warmth, and the quiet kindness she extended to those around her. Though she struggled with declining health in recent years she always maintained her love of family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alex Sher; her siblings Mark Jones (wife Mimi), Glenda Pietrantonio (husband Michael), Cindy Hodgdon (husband Rick), and Bill Jones (wife Shelly); as well as many loving nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Visitations will be held on Saturday, January 24th from 4p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday January 25th from 2p.m. to 4 p.m. at Complexe funéraire J.A.Larin & Fils, 317, Victoria street, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Québec. (450) 373-3636 www.jalarin.com.
